Critical Hits
As is typical with any and all of my games, when a player character rolls a critical hit in combat, they automatically do max damage on all of the damage dice.

Critical Hits with Firearms
When you roll a natural 20 on an attack roll in combat with any firearm weapon, you then have the ability to choose which area of the body to hit. You roll a d8, and whatever number between 0 and 8 are rolled, you do really bad damage to that part of the body. The table below lays out the d8 and body part correlation, and the corresponding effect.
